Giving Life to Animals - Origami by Hoang Tien Quyet (Papercraft: Research)

Origami Animals     Origami is a Japanese artform that has been around for thousands of years and is an beautiful piece of culture that is practiced all over the world. Hoang Tien Quyet, a Vietnamese artist, creates origami, but adds his own unique spin on it.   Quyet applies the wet-folding method to curve paper, rather than solely relying on straight lines, which is a technique invented by a master named Akira Yoshizawa. To use this technique, you must ensure the paper is a bit moist for the effective curves, and thick because regular paper is too fragile.
